Her favorite parts about teaching are seeing the improvements after a student revises an essay, having deep discussions with students about meaningful topics, and seeing the "a-ha" look in a student's eyes when understanding a difficult concept.
Mrs. Price has a bachelor's degree in English and Editing and a master's degree in Publishing. Before transitioning to education, she worked as a writer and editor for marketing companies, magazines, and journals. She loves creative writing and is currently working on a young adult novel.

Professor Ahmadi is an internationally acclaimed master of language arts and communication raised in Northern California with senior level experience in education. He is an active researcher having produced highly commended peer-reviewed publications in his respective fields. Under the tutelage of esteemed professors emeriti in California, Prof. Ahmadī was instructed by prominent scholars of Arts and Letters in the endangered disciplines of Classical, Medieval, and British Literature, Critical Pedagogy and Linguistics, Nineteenth Century American Literature, Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century British Literature, and Ethnic American Literature, respectively. Prof. Ahmadī completed his practicum and teacher training in classrooms serving underrepresented and underprivileged communities in Oakland, California. His expatriate teaching experiences include but are not limited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, Japan, the People’s Republic of China, and Occupied Palestinian Territories(OPT). Prof. Ahmadī looks forward to developing the literacy skills of the respected students at Curie Learning.

For the past twenty years, Ms. Mainer has had the opportunity to work in the field of education, teaching both adults and children. After getting her master’s degree from John Carroll University in Ohio, she began teaching language arts. She was able to work with a lot of amazing students, instructing them on grammar, writing, report writing, literature, essays, just to name a few. Later, she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she worked with school districts around the Atlanta metropolitan area, helping teachers develop curriculum using interactive Smart Boards. This was the first time that teachers were learning how to use technology in their classroom. She also worked with students at the same time, instructing them on some of the exciting new ways they could learn.
In 2009, she moved to Northern VA, where she began working as a corporate trainer/technical writer. In her current role, she is tasked with developing curriculum, proofreading/writing documents, and classroom instruction. She has had an interesting and wonderful career, and she hopes to bring her love of language arts and teaching to your child’s classroom. Her goal is to make the classes interactive and fun while at the same time helping your child become the best possible student.

She has driven over 40,000 miles across Europe and the United States observing and analyzing markets, cultures, economic trends, and nature, and making friends. When she is not working or teaching, she enjoys nature walks, campfires, documentaries, socializing with friends, or discovering UNESCO world heritage sites and other fascinating and charming places in this big, beautiful world.

She has a double master’s degree in Mathematics and in Education and currently she is teaching part-time in a nursing college. She has always loved math and has been teaching for a long time; even when she was in high school, she used to teach her younger brothers and kids from the neighborhood. She wants to instill that same love and passion about math in all her students so they don’t fear it, so she tries to make concepts easier so that all her students understand each concept well. She loves when students ask questions, are on time, submit their work on time and have an attitude to learn. The other thing she is passionate about is gardening, planting and seed saving. If she has extra time then she loves to do puzzles, especially sudoku puzzles, read, watch movies and listen to music.
